I can't come for my scheduled pick up time - will you hold my order?

We ask that you pick up your order on the day it is scheduled. If you cannot make it on that day please contact us. We are fairly flexible about pick-up times (high volume holidays excepted).

Plant orders will be held for one week and returned to stock with a 50% restocking fee. Flower orders will not be returned.

Flowers

How do I keep my flowers fresh?

Some tips:
-Change the water and recut the stems with sharp snips (if possible) every few days.
-Overfill a vase arrangement to flush out the old water without rearranging the stems.
-The packet of flower food can be split up into several uses.
-Keep the water level topped up. Don’t let the vase go dry.
-Keep them cool! Avoid hot areas of the house and direct sunlight.
-As some flowers die, discard them and continue to enjoy the other blooms.
-Different flowers have a different vase life. If longevity is the most important please let us know.

How big are your bouquets?

Because we use only premium flowers our bouquets may be smaller than some commercially available bouquets. During the summer when larger flowers are available bouquets may be bigger in size. As a general rule bouquets start at $25 for a petite bouquet.

Where do you get your flowers?

We buy our flowers from local suppliers and local farms (when seasonally available) and a few that we grow ourselves.

When is peony season?

Local peonies are usually available from mid-May to mid-June depending on weather and growing conditions. Finding peonies outside of this blooming season can be difficult and are very expensive.

What flowers do you have?

The flowers in our fridge change weekly. We buy in person and always choose what looks most fresh, beautiful and interesting.

If you are looking for a specific flower type or colour you can include a note with your order or contact us directly.

How does Flower Club work?

FLOWER CLUB is our bouquet subscription! Available every two weeks, it is a curated bouquet available in 4 sizes. Delivery & pick up options are available!

Do you make dried flower arrangements?

Yes we do! They just require a little more time and attention when putting them together as they are very fragile and tricky to work with.

Please give us some notice if you are interested in one.

Plants

Where do you get your plants?

We buy from a variety of local Ontario greenhouses and are always on the hunt for the most interesting plants available.

Are the decorative pots included with the plants?

They are sold separately, giving you the freedom to choose a pot that suits your aesthetic or allowing you to provide your own pot.

Can you repot my plant?

That is not a service that we offer, but we do supply many of the materials for you to do it yourself at home.

Can you take care of my sick plant?

No. We cannot risk exposing our shop plants to pests or disease.
